I am a freelance illustrator living on the beautiful Canadian East Coast, just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduating from NSCAD in 2008, I spent a few years working in the print industry learning such things as how to cuss out a dropped print head. I also learned that for someone who hoards art supplies a printshop, with all its papers, envelopes, and binding materials, is heavenly.
My love of nature, fantasy, and comics influences most of what I do, and I am especially happy when I can combine them. My favourite things to draw are plants and people carrying plants.
I work predominantly in watercolour and inks, and especially love working on pieces for children. I hope one day to publish some of my own stories.
All of my work is printed locally, here in Halifax.
